Rudge Speedway motorcycle. 1929.
Believed ridden by Billy Galloway.
Frame - Rudge D.T (England), now fitted with Webb dirt track forks
Engine - Rudge D.T 500cc 4 valve, 27 bhp and 5400 rpm. Engine No. - 1695DT
Clutch - Rudge, single plate
Carburettor - Amac, twin float
Fuel - RDI
There were a great many improvements for 1929, as 1928 had been a steep learning curve for Rudge. The engine, (loosely based on the "ulster"), was now a pure dirt track motor.
